Our story

Inspired by the need to create an all-round flexible graduate for the current world.

SITT is a private TVET college founded to train Kenyan technicians and community professionals to a nationally-recognised standard. Our training programmes are CBET-aligned.

SITT opened its doors in March 2024 and enrolled 80 students across ICT, Social Work & Community Development, Criminology, Community Health, Plumbing and Tourism & Hospitality. From day one we delivered the CDACC competency-based curriculum in full.

Our formal TVETA accreditation, though, took considerably longer than any of us expected. The delay came from statutory processing time in Nairobi — not from any gap in our facilities, staff or curriculum. Full accreditation was granted on 29 January 2025.

The college has undergone tremendous changes in bid to achieve its mission.

Today, every one of our programmes is TVETA-accredited and every student can sit CDACC assessments (with NITA trade-test, KASNEB, ICM and NCK pathways available where relevant). Our July 2026 CDACC series is confirmed and our September 2026 intake is open.

SITT doesn't take shortcuts. That is exactly the standard we are training our students to.
